Versa | Lips+

We offer Versa/Lips+ and the Juvederm suite of dermal fillers. All are non-surgical procedures which involve the injection of hyaluronic acid into cheeks, lips, or the area around the mouth. Your technician will discuss your health history with you, as well as the areas you wish to focus on. A tiny needle containing the hyaluronic acid gel is injected into specific areas of the face. Depending upon the area(s), a session may take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes.

FAQs About Versa|Lips+ and Juvederm.

HA is a natural substance in the skin that delivers nutrients, helps the skin retain moisture and softness, and adds volume.

Juvederm may be used to treat cheeks, chins, lines and lips. Versa/Lips+ is used to treat lips.

With either treatment, you will be able to see results immediately. For maximum results, additional treatments may be needed.

Results typically last from 6 months to 2 years, depending upon treatment type and number of treatments.

Most patients are able to tolerate the procedure with minimal discomfort. The most commonly reported sensation is a slight burning in the treatment area. Treatment products may contain lidocaine to manage any pain or discomfort.

Patients report that swelling and pain are minimal, as is downtime.

You’re probably familiar with the term “Botox treatment” and that’s likely because Botox was the first injectable botulinum product to arrive on the market. Today there are several other brands available, each as effective as the original. At Massage Bliss and Cryo, we primarily use Botox and Dysport.

Botulinum is a neurotoxin made from a bacterium called Clostridium botulinum. This toxin temporarily interrupts nerve signals to muscles, allowing the muscles to relax. Doctors use botulinum injections to treat neck spasms (cervical dystonia), excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), overactive bladder, chronic migraine and lazy eye conditions. Given the drug’s remarkable ability to relax facial muscles, it’s also considered one of the best non-invasive cosmetic treatments available today. Not only do these neuromodulators deliver fast results (typically within 3 to 5 days), with regular use they are proven to reduce the likelihood and severity of future wrinkling. FAQs about Botox, Dysport and Fillers

Botox treats moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines in adults. Dysport treats moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows.

For Botox, you may begin to notice results within 24 to 48 hours, with full results in 30 days, with results lasting up to four months for moderate to severe frown lines. Remember that results vary from patient to patient though, so plan your next appointment based on your results and aesthetic goals.

For Dysport, the majority of users see improvement in just 2-3 days after treatment. It may help to improve the look of your frown lines between the eyebrows for up to 5 months.

Some patients report that injections feel like a pinch. Your specialist may use ice to numb the treatment area. Or, if you are concerned about discomfort, your specialist may apply a topical numbing cream before administering your treatment.
